Present simple tense 

* ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ತಪ್ಪದೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಘಟನೆಗಳು

*ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬದಲಾಗದೇ ಇರುವ ವಿಷಯಗಳು

*ಹವ್ಯಾಸಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳು ಸಾರ್ವಕಾಲಿಕ ಸತ್ಯಗಳು

*ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಸ್ಥಳ ಅಥವಾ ವಸ್ತುವಿನ ಗುಣ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಲು (ಹೇಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು)

*ಒಂದು ನಿರ್ಧರಿತ ಸಮಯ ತಿಳಿಯಲು ರಿ

*ಸಲಹೆ-ಸೂಚನೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಅನುಮತಿ ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇಳಲು

Do, does > used to tell actions
Is, am, are > used to describe

I, you, we, they, >( Do) work  [singular]

He, she, it, names > (Does) works [plural] ಸ್

Example > 1) sun rises in the east

My mother > this sentence is a 3rd person

Is, am, are > used to describe (ಯಾರು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹೇಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು)

Example 1) Jaipur is a beautiful city

2) kiran respects his elders

(ಒಂದು ನಿರ್ಧರಿತ ಸಮಯ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು)

3)When does exam start? (ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತೆ?)

Present countinuous tense

* ಈ ಟೆನ್ಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಈ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ವಿಷಯ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ
Eg : ನಾನು ಈಗ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ

Present perfect tense

*ಈ ಟೆನ್ಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗಷ್ಟೇ ಮುಗಿದ ಘಟನೆ ಕೆಲಸ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ

*ಅಂದರೆ ಅವುಗಳು ಮುಗಿದು ಕೆಲವು ಸಮಯ ಗಂಟೆ ದಿನಗಳು ಆಗಿರಬಹುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಗಿದಂತೆ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಈಗಿನ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ (ವರ್ತಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ) ಸಂಬಂಧ ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು

Eg : ನಾನು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಇಡ್ಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆ

Present perfect countinuous tense 

*ತುಂಬಾ ಸಮಯದಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ವಿಷಯ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಲು
*ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಒಂದು ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಗೊಂಡು ಈ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರೆಯಬೇಕು (ಮುಗದಿ ಇರಬಾರದು)
* ಅವುಗಳು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಗೊಂಡು ಕೆಲವು ನಿಮಿಷ ಗಂಟೆ ದಿನಗಳ ಅಥವಾ ವರ್ಷಗಳಾಗಿರಬಹುದು
Eg : ನಾನು ಈ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು 2 ಗಂಟೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ
